Some emperical data on my laziness

So a running theme on my Blog here is the fact that I have disproportionately more difficulty waking up early than normal people, a condition which is usually called being lazy.

However I consider myself a person lazy only of sleep and not lazy of mind, and as such I have spent a fair amount of time researching why this might be. For a fair while I have been aware of non-24-hour sleep-wake syndrome, it bares the closest symptoms to the ones I have of any syndrome I have been able to find. However it's all a little fluffy when I try to justify lateness in the mornings most people (understandably) tell me I'm just lazy.

Well here's something interesting: Today I woke up naturally at 2pm MST (GMT - 7).
That means when I woke up today it was 9pm in England, and I left England two weeks ago.
And thinking about it, since I arrived in Houston (now on CDT (GMT - 5)) I have gradually been waking up later and later. So, time to move to Mars?
