Planning to plan

Plans are a terrible idea anyway, I like to think of them more as guidelines.

Guideline is an improvement, the wiktionary provides a definition which is more amicable:
"A non-specific rule or principle that provides direction to action or behaviour".

But I still don't like the fact is has the word line in it, guide I'll allow, but line is far to definite; following a line should lead you straight to somewhere and that it not the case.

No. I propose that instead of planning the future, I will instead employ a series of unit vectors, generating new ones when new options become available. I shall point in the direction which seems to make sense at the time and weight the current situation far more heavily.

As such, please disregard all my previous posts :)

Whilst researching this Blog I happened both upon these quotes, which far more delightfully describe this Blog's subject matter:

Happiness is not a goal; it is a by-product
(Eleanor Roosevelt)

Happiness is a direction, not a place
(Sydney J. Harris)

Now you all have that warm and fuzzy feeling, I shall leave it there.
Short and sweet.
